If you lost your save files because of the game crash or anything else, you can restore your save using these files.
How to use Save Files
1. Go to this location "C:\Users\accountname\AppData\Local\SilentHill2\Saved\SaveGames\randomnumbers" (You need to enable "Show hidden files, folders, and drives" to access this address)
2. Extract the save file, then copy/paste it in the save folder.
Eastern South Vale
Road To Silent Hill Trail: Before Graveyard. (Beginning)
House on Martin Street: First room you enter in the game, while following the first enemy.
Martin Street: Outside the apartment after killing your first enemy.
Neely's Bar: Before solving the music box puzzle.
Neely's Bar: After solving the music box puzzle.
Wood Side Apartments
Reception Office: Right after entering the Wood Side Apartments. (Beginning)
Small Staircase: The Staircase you enter after unlocking the locked door in the broken wall, next to the dead guy watching TV.
Reception Office: After finding all three coins to solve the puzzle.
Bluecreek Apartments
Clock Room: Beginning of the clock puzzle.
Clock Room: After finding the Hour Hand, the first clock puzzle peace.
Clock Room: After finding the Minute Hand, the second clock puzzle peace.
Clock Room: After finding the Second Hand, the third clock puzzle peace. Which direct you to the Boss Fight: Pyramid Head.
Western South Vale
Outside: After the fight with Boss Fight: Pyramid Head ends and you follow him to outside. (Beginning)
Jacks Inn: Motel, When you picked up the key and saved Maria.
Heaven's Night: Inside the strip club, with Maria.
Brookhaven Hospital
Reception Office: After picking up the Basement key. (Beginning)
Reception Office: After finding the first bracelet called Marked Bracelet.
Reception Office: After finding the second bracelet called Bloodstained Bracelet.
3rd Floor Corridor: After finding the third bracelet called Filthy Bracelet. Go back to the second floor 2F and go inside the Director's Office to solve the puzzle.
3rd Floor Corridor: After solving the puzzle and going to roof top with the key. Your next zone is the Boss Fight: Flesh Lip.
Otherworld Hospital
1st Floor Corridor: Beginning.
2nd Floor Hall: After opening chains for the Keypad and the Lock. Need to find the key.
2nd Floor Hall: After opening the box with the key and the painting appearing.
Staircase: After solving the painting puzzle and entering it's door with Maria. This is where your next objective is to run from the Pyramid Head with Maria.
Reception Office: Getting out of the hospital and following Laura on the street.
Eastern South Vale: Otherworld
Garage: After breaking the wall inside the garage. (Beginning)
Motor Home: Following Laura for second time and going inside a motor home.
Tunnel: Next to the Bolted Gate on your way to Rosewater Park.
Historical Society Reception Desk: Inside the Silent Hill Historical Society to get to Toluca Prison.
Toluca Prison
Armory: After the cutscene with Eddie. (Beginning)
Yard: After lighting up the Serpent., the first weight.
Armory: After finding Medium Weight, the second weight and picking up the rifle.
Yard: After lighting up the Hornless Ox, the second weight. (Medium Weight)
Yard: After lighting up the Eyeless Boar, the third weight. (Heavy Weight)
Yard: After lighting up the Wingless Dove, the fourth weight. (Light Weight)
Yard: After lighting up the Sword, the fifth weight. (Lightest Weight)
Labyrinth
Elevator: After crashing down with the elevator. (Beginning and right before righting Daddy Abstract boss fight)
Crossroads: Right after defeating Daddy Abstract and before meeting Maria next to the cube.
Labyrinth: Rotten Area
Rotten Room: Entering the room with the hanging cage. (Beginning)
Labyrinth: Desolate Area
Desolate Corridor: Entering the hallway after opening the middle door in three doors path. (Beginning)
Labyrinth: Ruined Area
Ruined Hallway: After dealing with three group of monsters and breaking three red doors.
Cemetery: Where James, Eddie and Angela's grave is located and jump down faces you with the boss fight Eddie.
Toulca Lake Shore: After defeating Eddie boss fight and before getting on the boat.
Lakeview Hotel
Reception: Inside the hotel, after picking up the map. (Beginning)
Reception: After finding the key for the fireplace. Go to Conference Room in the Third Floor 3F to face the boss fight Mandarin.
Employee Elevator Room: Going inside elevator to go down to the basement.
Reception: Everything done and ready to solve the puzzle in middle of the hallway in the first floor 1F.
Reception: After solving the puzzle in middle of the hallway in the first floor 1F. Your next subject is watching the video tape.
Lakeview Hotel: Otherworld
Venus Tears Bar: Full of water. This is the save before meeting Angela for the last time in her world. (Burning/Fire)
Dual Pyramid Heads: Boss fight after leaving Lakeview Hotel: Otherworld.

This saves may take time to be added, be patient please.
Rebirth (New Game+): Go to the Cafe Tolusa in the first floor 1F and keep going right to see a weak wall. Break the weak wall and go through it. Look at your right for the Lost Memories book. Pick up the book and finish the game.
Dog (New Game+): Go up the stairs to the third floor 3F and find the locked door under the Room 315 in your map. Combine Broken Key Part 1 and Broken Key Part 2 and then open the Staff Only double door in your right.
UFO (New Game+): Go up the stairs to the third floor 3F and find the locked door under the Room 315 in your map. Enter the room 312. Investigate the Blue Gem before watching the video tape.
Bliss (New Game+) / New Ending for Remake: Go up the stairs to the third floor 3F and find the locked door under the Room 315 in your map. Enter the room 312. Combine the Rusted Key with the Small Chest to get the White Claudia. Drink the White Claudia from Inventory and watch the video tape to trigger the ending.
Stillness (New Game+) / New Ending for Remake: Go up the stairs to the third floor 3F and find the locked door under the Room 315 in your map. Enter the room 312. After watching the video tape, go to the Manager's Office in the first floor 1F and use the code 314 to open the safe and get the Toluca Postcard. Investigate the Toluca Postcard in the Inventory and finish the game to trigger the ending.
