After getting control of your character in the beginning of the game, when you enter the first building, in the room in front of you, you can see Clementine's hat on the bed. She's a character from another horror game called The Walking Dead.

Toy from Movie

The Toy you collect throughout the  game is the Space Shuttle toy that caused dead of a character in the first A Quiet Place movie.
