To increase your gear capacity you need to complete Merlin Trials.

• To check your progress open the In-game menu > Challenges > Exploration.

Trials of Merlin / Unlock Trials

• The very first Merlin Trial challenge is part of the main questline.
• You need to complete this first challenge to open rest of the Trials.

Quickly light up all of the timed brazier pillars using the Confringo spell.

How to Solve Trials

• To activate each Trial you need 5 Mallosweet Leaves which you can grow or buy from vendors.

All Trials aren't unique and you only need one of these 9 tricks to be able to solve each of them.

Time Braziers: Light up braziers on top of the columns using the Confringo spell.

Orbs: Damage orbs to destroy them using any attack spells.

Giant Stone Orb: Use Revelio to find a Giant Stone Ball and a big hole, then use Depulso or four basic attack combo to pull the ball into that hole.

Butterflies in Lanterns: Use Lomus on the butterflies close to lanterns and light them up.

Match Stones: Using Flipendo spell, you need to flip three stones around the Trial to match to their base symbols.

Five Orbs: Use Accio to pull the five small orbs into their place. There is three of them.

Jump: Look around to find a set of climbable rocks and jump into the smaller one and then jump to other. Jumping or falling to the ground will fail the process and you will have to start from the small one again.

Destructible Stones: Use the Confringo spell to destroy the stones around the Trial.

Broken Statues: Use the Reparo spell on the 4 broken statues to repair them.
