After finding your first key in the church which the main story will direct you to it, jump down and go back to church's path to find the Imp toy behind a locked gate.
Nightmare Weapon Skin
While killing enemies to destroy the four demonic gateways (portals) you will get a new weapon called Shredder, once you got that weapon look behind yourself to see a railway leading into the water.
Right in your right you can see a open gate you can jump to it while Sprinting (Shift in PC).
The bubble around the Nightmare weapon skin will disappear once you killed the enemies around it.

Get back to the pod where you got the Shredder weapon and this time go behind it and drop to your right when you get to edge of the where you fall into the water.

Purple Key: Life Sigil
After defeating enemies to close the third gate, go past the wooden bridge to find a purple key in your right. Jump down and go back to the first area where you fought enemies to close the first gate and open the purple gate.

After defeating enemies and closing the forth gate, go past the wooden bridge where you fought the monster and then go up to your right.

After defeating group of enemies after closing all of four gates, use the path in right of the burning giant sword and then instead of going to left to progress the main story, go up the wall in right.
