If Sprint (Shift) button isn't working and you can't move fast, check your buffs.

Drunkenness

Go to Inventory > Player > Buffs, if there is a Drunkenness buff, it means you gotta walk for some time.

Load Capacity

Go to Inventory and check Current Load/Capacity down the screen. If you got more than you can carry then lose some weight.
