If Re8:Village crashes right after launching it and gives you the crash report error, this might help you.

Defender/Antivirus

1. Open Windows Defender or any Antivirus you've installed on your computer.

2. Restore any file related to Resident Evil Village in Virus & threat protection > Protection history (direction differs for Antivirus).

steam_api64.dll

1. Download steam_api64.dll and extract it.

2. Locate where you've installed RE:Village and copy/paste it in the main folder.
